Chipped or cracked tile? Can it be repaired?

Has that chip in your tile been a chip on your shoulder?  Do you look at it everyday and wish you could make it disappear?  Worry no more because it can be fixed and thanks to Ceramifix, it can be fixed fast!

Here's your options:

1.  Choose a product that isn't Ceramifix.  You've probably done your research, scoured the web looking for answers and may have even found a few products that might work.  Many of those products require you to mix a base and accelerator together, a messy solution with few color choices.

2.  Replace the chipped or cracked tile.  Obviously that isn't an option for everyone.  Replacing one tile requires you having a replacement tile on hand that matches.  Great if there were extras from when the tiles were originally placed.  Good luck removing the damaged tile and not doing damage to the surrounding tiles.  Replacing one tile just might turn into a bigger remodelling job than you are prepared for.  Have you ever removed an entire kitchen or bathroom of tile?  You'll need to hire the job out ($$$$) or avid DIYers will need to rent a power-scraper.  It's not just about removing tile, you'll have to remove the floor adhesive as well to ensure a smooth surface to adhere the replacement tile(s) to or else you'll be replacing it again in the very near future.  Did I mention the mess of dust you are going to kick up during your tile removal?  Invest in plastic room dividers to control dust and so you can prevent it from coating your furniture and getting in your HVAC system.  If you are replacing an entire room of tile, plan on several days to a week with that room out of commission- not good if it's a kitchen or bathroom, worse if it's your laundry room!

3. Use Ceramifix.  Why?  #1 & #2 are fine options, just do your research and know what you're getting into.  But why not Ceramifix?  It's inexpensive, comes in countless standard color options and you can even mix 2 or more colors together right on your tile to get a perfect match!  Ceramifix is a one-step product.  Squeeze the product right onto the chip or drag it along the crack for complete coverage.  Ceramifix bonds with the unglazed portion of the tile and cleans easily from the glazed surface making it a snap to touch up any tile.

A small amount goes a very long way so Ceramifix is packaged in a .50 oz squeezable bottle.  We don't want you to pay for more than you will ever need in a lifetime!

In short, Ceramifix won't make that chip or crack disappear, it isn't magic.  But Ceramifix will cover it up, making it less noticeable.  So leave your chips on your shoulder, we can't fix those, but we can make your floors look better.  Ceramifix can even help hide those chips and scratches in your tub, sink and toilet.  Sorry though, it won't clean 'em!  We'll leave the toilet scrubbing to you!
